Day 19 Of “Catch 22” Program Focuses On Finding A Man Who Attacked And Choked A Woman

Today is Day 19 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” Program. Today we focus on 23-year-old Aaron Frederick Pomeroy. Back in July of 2018, Pomeroy attacked a female victim by hitting her in the face and choking her until she almost lost consciousness. He then proceeded to bite the victim’s neck, rip her clothes off, and threw her down by her chest. Pomeroy then told the victim he was going to get a knife, in which the victim had time to escape. Pomeroy was convicted of aggravated assault, assault, and disorderly conduct. He served jail time and was placed on probation, which he has since broken. Pomeroy is now wanted on a nationwide extraditable probation violation warrant. His last known address was in Paulden. Pomeroy is a white male, six-feet-tall, weighing 137 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He also has a tattoo of a bloody hatchet with the number 13 on his upper right arm. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a cash reward of up to $500 for anyone with any information leading to an arrest. If anyone knows Pomeroy’s whereabouts, contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232, or submit an anonymous tip online at
