Today is Day 17 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” Program. Today we focus on 32-year-old Justin Bustamante. Back on January 3rd, 2020, Bustamante was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputy on Interstate-17 near Stoneman Lake Road for a traffic violation. The deputy smelled the odor of marijuana and did a probable cause search. The deputy then found a pound-and-a-half of methamphetamine in a backpack. Bustamante was arrested and convicted of trafficking dangerous drugs and was placed on probation, which he has since broken. He is wanted on a nationwide extraditable probation violation warrant and his last known location was in Sanostee, New Mexico. Bustamante is five-feet-ten-inches-tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and numerous tattoos including a sleeve on his right arm. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a cash reward of up to $500 to anyone with any information leading to an arrest.
