Cordes Lakes Man Arrested Wednesday Morning For Sexual Abuse And Drug Charges

A man was arrested in Cordes Lakes on sexual abuse and drug-related charges Wednesday morning. Over a week ago, YCSO deputies were informed of a man who allegedly sexually assaulted and abused a victim at his home for multiple days. Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, as well as Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit and Adult Probation carrying on the search warrant of 62-year-old David Black’s residence. Black has since been convicted and is on probation for attempted sexual extortion. Black is booked in the Yavapai County Jail on charges of sexual abuse, sexual assault, and various drug-related charges.
