Road work will begin on Glassford Hill Road Monday in Prescott Valley. Lanes will be restricted for an enhancement project that will smooth out the road. During construction, traffic will be controlled in one direction at a time, with two out of the three lanes being closed on the northside of Florentine Road continuing to Veterans Way. Once the two initial lanes are completed, the construction site will be shifted to work on the final lane. The Prescott Town Manager’s office says drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use caution when driving near active work zones.
