Flagstaff Community Garden Plots Open For Applications

Growing applications for the spring are opening in Flagstaff. Starting March 1st, residents are encouraged to apply for a plot in one of the three community gardens managed by The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office. Registration fees for these gardens are $65 dollars a year to cover water, infrastructure improvements and resources for gardeners. Scholarships are available for those who express their need in the online application for a plot. While everyone is encouraged to apply, returning gardeners will get priority until April 1st, along with new gardeners who do not have space in their homes to garden or who qualify for SNAP benefits.
