Both Flagstaff and Coconino landed in the top-16 of the 4A rankings released Tuesday. The Coconino Panthers are the fourth-ranked team in 4A and the 13th-ranked team in the Open Division. The Panthers sit comfortably in fourth, nearly two-full points up on American Leadership Academy Queen Creek and just a shade under Cactus for third. Flagstaff sits in 11th and is firmly in a playoff spot. A win could sneak them into a home playoff game, with help, but it is likely the Eagles will be on the road for the 4A play-in round starting next Friday. The 52nd City Championship between Flagstaff and Coconino is this Friday at Cromer Stadium. We will have the game on KAFF Country 93.5/AM 930 starting at 6:30 p.m.
