The Coconino National Forest is conducting an educational event about the training site near Flagstaff that was home to the Apollo mission at one time. Officials say the Sea of Tranquility Hike will begin this Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Flagstaff Ranger Station near the Flagstaff Mall just off Highway 89. Before heading to the site, attendees will watch a short film about how the craters were made. Then there will be a trip to the site and a tour. Limited spots are available. To reserve your spot today, call Jeanne Stevens at (928) 527-3475.
