The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the Route 66 DUI Task Force over Memorial Day Weekend. The Route 66 DUI Task Force is made up of 13 agencies focusing on stopping drunk, dangerous and reckless drivers along Route 66 from New Mexico to California. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind residents and travelers to slow down, wear a seatbelt, and never drive under the influence.
