Coconino County has moved into Phase Four of its COVID-19 re-entry plan, 15 months after the pandemic began. Phase Four is marked by County buildings being open, however, some County buildings will have metered access at entrances to lobbies through call boxes to allow departments to manage the number of people in small spaces for the health and safety of the public and staff. Coconino County does not require fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask in County buildings, except the Jail, Juvenile, and the Health and Human Services clinic, where masks are required per CDC guidelines. Unvaccinated individuals are asked to mask while inside County buildings. The County continues to support an individual’s decision to mask when already vaccinated based upon a person’s own comfort level and preference.
