Coconino County Attorney Bill Ring is not running for re-election in 2024. “I came to the Office with a specific skill set, namely leadership. The office has never been stronger than it is now. With that goal accomplished, I intend to pursue new opportunities in 2025.” Since being elected in 2017, Ring has navigated the office through a pandemic, overseen the cost-effective use of new management software, secured grant funding to study the intersection of crime and health. Ring has been with Coconino County for 22 years. He says he’s not ruling out a run for Congress or another elected office, however he says “this is Northern Arizona. You’ll find me outdoors. Look for me there.”
