Chisholm Fire Burning Southeast of Pulliam Airport Tuesday

The Chisholm Fire was burning at a quarter-acre southeast of Flagstaff Pulliam Airport on Tuesday but has since been 100 percent contained. This fire was reported at midnight on Tuesday. It was caused by two slash piles that caught on fire. A slash pile is an accumulation of limbs, leaves, pine needles, and other fuels left by natural debris and forest management activities. A fire engine and a dozer are on the scene.
