A Chino Valley man, who is a registered sex offender, has been arrested for child molestation in Prescott. Police were called to a home on Copper Basin Road back in July, involving 30-year-old Randy Jarrell. A 14-year-old female victim told authorities that while the suspect and his wife were at her home babysitting, she fell asleep on a couch at the home. When she woke up, she found Jarrell touching her inappropriately. She immediately removed his hand and left the area of the house and told others in the home what happened. Joseph denied the incident. He consented to DNA tests and the victim underwent a medical exam. On Tuesday the results came back and revealed Jarrell was a match to the crime. He was interviewed again and denied touching the girl. Jarrell is a Level Two sex offender from an arrest back in 2010 when he was convicted of sexual conduct with a minor. Jarrell has been booked into the Yavapai County Jail in one count of child molestation.
