Central Fire And Medical Crew Crosses Flooded Creek On An Emergency Call Early Thursday

A crew from Central Arizona Fire and Medical was dispatched early Thursday morning for an emergency call off Big Springs Ranch Road in Paulden. The area experienced flooding, which has cut off road access and created an island the residents can’t safely cross. The crew prepared in case of an emergency call on Wednesday, by moving another unit to their station, to provide a quicker way to access the area when it floods. The second unit crossed through Big Chino Wash, secured the patient and took the person to a Life Line Ambulance. The person was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment.
