Central Arizona Fire And Medical Crews Tended To An Accident Monday, That Involved Leaking Acetone Cans

A traffic accident in Chino Valley created a possible hazardous chemical situation Monday morning. Central Arizona Fire and Medical crews were called to the intersection of Highway 89 and Road 3 North at around 7:50 a.m. While securing the scene, firefighters discovered a painting van that was involved in the accident, had acetone leaking from damaged cans. The crew cordoned off the vehicle and pulled a line in case a fire started. Four people were transported to a nearby hospital.
