A Coconino County Sheriff’s K9 team made an arrest after a traffic stop on eastbound I-40 early Saturday morning. Officials say the team stopped a vehicle near Two Guns at around 7 a.m. One person was in the car and told the deputy he was heading to Phoenix from Los Angeles. During the stop, the deputy found a bag in the passenger compartment of the vehicle that contained several heat-sealed bags of meth, later weighing 24 pounds. The 33-year-old California driver was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff. He has been charged with transporting dangerous drugs for sale.
