Two people were arrested Tuesday near Happy Jack for trafficking suspected fentanyl. Coconino County Sheriff’s officials say a deputy saw a vehicle heading northbound on Highway 87 commit a traffic violation. The vehicle was stopped and upon talking to the two men in the vehicle, conducted a search after receiving consent. During the search, the deputy found ten bags containing blue M30 pills, presumed to be Fentanyl, in the back of the trunk. The deputy also found two bags with a white powdery substance inside. The deputy arrested 26-year-old Jesus Mora-Quinonez and 21-year-old Ramces Carrillo-Lopez. They were booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility in Flagstaff for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and transport for sale of narcotic drugs.
