It looks like the question Coconino Community College put to voters yesterday is going to pass. CCC is asking for a rise in the primary property tax rate to help fund the college. If approved, the property taxes on a $300-thousand dollar home would go up $7.56 a month. With all but eight precincts reporting as of this morning, “yes” is leading with 11,200 votes to 6,536 “no” votes. The overwhelming majority of votes were done by early voting, with a voter turnout of 19-percent.
