Cottonwood Police arrested a suspect Monday for crimes he committed several months ago. Police arrested 34-year-old Michael Wayne Dunegan the Second, from Camp Verde, stemming from an incident that took place at a Cottonwood business located in the one-thousand block of North Main Street during the week of August 16th, 2022. The investigation had been on-going advanced to a point where probable cause could be established for making an arrest in the matter. Dunegan was taken into custody at the Cottonwood Police Department and charged with felony and misdemeanor charges of stalking, disorderly conduct, assault and threatening and intimidating.
