Camp Verde Man Arrested For Assaulting His Six-Year-Old Daughter Recently

A Camp Verde man has been arrested after he assaulted a six-year-old girl. Camp Verde Marshal’s say they received a complaint from a person back on October 25th at around 11 p.m. that her six-year-old sister had been assaulted by her stepfather during the child’s visit over the weekend. The person told investigators when she picked up her sister from the home, she saw the girl had injuries to her head and saw marks on the child’s neck. They then drove the child to Verde Valley Medical Center. Hospital staff recommend they take her to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she received treatment and was released. Investigators say 48-year-old Philip Bryan was taken into custody the next day. He was booked on charges of child abuse and aggravated assault on a minor.
