A juvenile is in critical condition after he was struck while he and three other juveniles were shooting toward a nearby water tower at the Yavapai Apache Cemetery in Camp Verde early Wednesday morning. The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office received a 911 call from another juvenile saying a person at the cemetery had been shot. When officers arrived they found the boy with life-threatening injuries caused by a single gunshot wound to the upper portion of his body. Verde Valley EMS quickly arrived at the scene. He was then air lifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The incident remains under investigation.
