The Northern Arizona tourist attraction known as Bedrock City in Valle has closed its doors after being open for nearly 50 years. The “Flintstones” themed park was established in 1972 and is located at the junction of Highway 180 and State Route 64 between Williams and the Grand Canyon. The park featured a gift shop, restaurant, theater and many “Flintstone” features. The attraction closed for good over the weekend. The owners put the park up for sale for two-million dollars in 2015. The 30-acre park will be redeveloped into a new attraction. There’s no word what will be built on the property.
