It was a bitter cold morning across Northern Arizona Wednesday. The National Weather Service reports that a number of areas saw lows below zero overnight. The Flagstaff Landfill out in Doney Park had a low of six-degrees below zero, as did Mormon Lake. The Grand Canyon Airport had a low of minus-eight, but the winner overnight was Happy Jack with a low of nine-degrees below zero. Forecasters say lows Thursday morning will be warmer than Wednesday morning, but still well below freezing.
