The Prescott Valley Police Department has closed the application process for the 2022 Youth Police Academy “Believe In Something Better” program. Teens will have the opportunity to learn skills to be leaders in their schools and communities. The program will run from Monday, July 11th to Friday, July 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Prescott Valley Police Department. The program is free and lunch and snacks will be provided all five days. The Academy is only taking 15 students between the ages of 14 and 18 who are attending school within the town limits of Prescott Valley. Students must also pass a background screening process to participate.
