Another “Catch 22” Suspect Is Arrested In Oregon

Another Yavapai Silent Witness “Catch 22” suspect is arrested. Officials say 40-year-old Sarah Maria Distefano was arrested at her home back in Sweet Home, Oregon back in January. She was originally from the Cornville area. On April 12th of 2019, Distefano was pulled over in the area of Highway 89A and Zalesky Road in Cottonwood. A Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputy placed her under arrest for aggravated DUI after she provided breath samples of .285 and .288, which is over three times the legal limit. Distefano was extradited back to Yavapai County and is currently in the Yavapai County Jail. She was Day 14 on Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” list this year.
