ADOT plans to reduce eastbound travel on Interstate-40 to one lane between the I-17 interchange and Butler Avenue in Flagstaff starting Sunday. Officials say continuing pavement work on eastbound I-40 is the reason for the adjustment. Travel will reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a 16-foot vehicle-width restriction and law enforcement may be on site. ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around workers and equipment when pavement work is underway. Motorists should be prepared for lane restrictions on eastbound I-40 between the I-17 interchange and Country Club Drive through July 30th.
