ADOT will narrow Interstate-40 to one lane at Townsend-Winona Road for three days this week. Crews will be doing guardrail replacement and road repairs beginning Wednesday. Restrictions will be in place from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 5 a.m. to noon on Friday. Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane, a 16-foot vehicle width limit will be in place, along with the speed limit reduced to 45 miles-per-hour. I-40 on and off ramps at Townsend-Winona will remain open from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays through Friday, June 11th with an eleven-foot width limit in place on the ramps. Drivers should slow down and proceed through the work zone with caution and watch for construction personnel this week.
