The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding travelers of daytime lane restrictions on State Route 99 east of Flagstaff beginning Monday. Restrictions will be in place near Leupp, about 50 miles east of Flagstaff on the Navajo Nation. Lane restrictions are needed for crews to work on road and bridge preservation. North and southbound travel on State Route 99 will alternate travel at milepost 71. Flaggers will help with traffic flow, a 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place, and the speed limit will be lowered to 25-miles-per-hour. Construction will begin at 6 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m. daily. Restrictions are expected to be lifted on Wednesday. ADOT reminds residents and travelers to slow down and use caution when traveling near crews and equipment.
