ADOT is reminding Flagstaff travelers to plan for intermittent lane restrictions on Interstate 40 until October 31st. Lane restrictions will be in place around the clock from the I-17 junction to Walnut Canyon Road. Westbound I-40 is down to one lane just before the I-17 transition. Restrictions are needed for crews to complete pavement preservation that was on hold because of winter weather. Both east and westbound travel will be narrowed to one lane with a 14-foot vehicle-width restriction in place. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution when traveling around crews and equipment.
