There will be lane restrictions Friday on Interstate-40 while construction on the West Flagstaff Bridge replacement project continues at Exit 191. ADOT says east and westbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 miles-per-hour and a 16-foot vehicle width limit will be in place. Crews are replacing the bridge over Business 40, which connects the interstate to West Route 66. The bridge replacement project is expected to be completed by the Fall. ADOT reminds travelers and residents to slow down and use caution when traveling near crews and equipment.
