ADOT Announces Three Names For Its Snowplows

ADOT has announced three winners from its “Name-A-Snowplow” Contest. Officials say after around seven-thousand votes, the names are “Alice Scooper”, “Snowguaro” and “Frost Responder.” The name will be affixed to the driver and passenger side doors of the truck cab, so the plows can be identified by name. “Alice Scooper” will be seen in and around Flagstaff. “Snowguaro” will be stationed near Superior and “Frost Responder” will be stationed in Page. ADOT has 200 snowplows and nearly 500 trained snowplow operators at highway maintenance yards across the state, ready to deploy when snow falls.
