A Wisconsin Hiker Is Found Dead Along The Bright Angel Trail In The Grand Canyon Last Week

A hiker was found dead last week along the Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon. National Park Officials say last Friday at around 3 p.m. they received a report of an unresponsive hiker on the trail, below Havasupai Gardens. Search and rescue personnel arrived on scene at around 3:30 p.m. and pronounced the hiker dead. The victim was a 56-year-old man from Pewaukee, Wisconsin. He was attempting a day hike to the Colorado River and back. An investigation into his death is ongoing.
