A Wind Advisory Will Be In Effect For Most Of Northern Arizona Saturday And Sunday

A Wind Advisory will be in effect for most of Northern Arizona this weekend. The National Weather Service issued the advisory until 8 p.m. Sunday. The advisory is for the Greater Flagstaff Area, Williams, Winslow, Holbrook, and the Navajo and Hopi nations. Forecasters say winds will be 25-to-35 miles per hour with gusts between 40-to-50 miles an hour at times. High winds will make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Expect some blowing dust in areas and possibly downed power lines. If you have to travel this weekend, especially Saturday, use caution.
