A Warm Winter Storm Could Bring A Lot Of Rain To Northern Arizona

A very wet storm will bring mostly rain to Northern Arizona starting Wednesday night. National Weather Service forecasters say snow levels will be around 65-hundred feet when the storm arrives, but will rise to 8,000-feet come Thursday morning. We could see inches of rain from Flagstaff south to Prescott and Cottonwood. This rare February rain event could cause flooding in prone areas. Remember, don’t cross flooded streams and washes and stay clear of dry waterways in case of flash flooding. Arizona Snowbowl could see two feet of new snow by Friday morning. Forecasters have Northern Arizona in a wet pattern through Monday so if you’re travelling, use caution and keep your eye on the weather.
