First responders rushed to an accident scene Sunday morning near Cornville, after a semi-truck, hauling a John Deere tractor, crashed into a 30-foot motor home. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say the accident happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Cornville Road near Mile Post 8. The motor home was completely demolished leaving an extensive amount of debris in the road. The tractor flipped into the roadway as well and left a major gouge in the road. As a result, the roadway was completely blocked for about an hour. Fortunately there were no fatalities, but victims of the crash were transported to the Verde Valley Medical Center where they were treated for injuries. YCSO says impairment doesn’t appear to be a factor in the accident.
