A Prescott woman was killed after she was hit by a Jeep as she rode her motorcycle Tuesday evening in Prescott. Police say the accident happened at around 6 p.m. in the 31-hundred block of Willow Creek Road. Investigators say a 55-year-old was riding her motorcycle southbound, when at the same time a Jeep driven by a 20-year-old Prescott resident was also southbound in a lane next to her. The driver of the Jeep, failing to see the woman, attempted to change lanes and sideswiped the motorcyclist, causing her to lose control and fall. She was ejected from the bike and into the northbound lanes of traffic where she was hit by a vehicle driving northbound. The woman was severely injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. Prescott Police are asking for anyone who saw the accident, to call the police department at (928) 777-1949.
