A Prescott Valley woman was killed and a Prescott Valley man was seriously injured when the airplane they were in, crashed outside of Kingman Sunday. Mohave County Sheriff’s officials say the crash took place in the Hualapai Mountains, near the Mohave County Parks Ranger Station at around 11:45 a.m. Officials say 43-year-old Christopher Anderson encountered a person near the crash and told the person he was in a plane crash. The person called for help. The crash killed 38-year-old Heidi Sue Dowland of Prescott Valley. Anderson was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and then transported to a Las Vegas hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
