A Prescott Man Has Been Arrested On Several Felony Counts Connected To Sex Crimes

A Prescott man has been arrested on several felony charges connected to sex crimes and drug possession. Police began an investigation in March into 43-year-old Eric Wright, after it was reported that uploads were made to an online account that contained images of sexual exploitation of minors. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Wright also appeared to video himself engaged in an assault of an adult woman without her knowledge or consent. The act took place in the same residence, with those videos also uploaded to the online account. Last Thursday, detectives served a search warrant Wright’s home in the 600-block of Lincoln Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident. Wright has been booked in the Yavapai County Jail on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual abuse and possession of dangerous drugs, among other charges. Wright is currently being held without bond.
