Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area off Senator Highway after a report by a camper that a man had shined a light into their vehicle and then pointed a rifle at her, her child and two other adults. The incident took place over a camping dispute. The campers left the site and waited for law enforcement to arrive. The man was wearing all camo clothing at a campfire with a large fire going. The rifle was an AR-15 with a bright light on it with a strobe function. The man was identified as 39-year-old John Kim.
