A man was arrested after a domestic dispute escalated to a shooting incident in Prescott Valley Thursday night. Police were dispatched to the 41-hundred block of Cholla Drive at around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene they found a person inside a house that needed medical attention due to a gunshot wound. Officers then safely removed the injured person from the home, through the window of the home. After getting the person to safety, officers began to question the resident and another person inside. The person surrendered and was taken into custody. The injured person was flown to a Phoenix area hospital for treatment. No officers were injured in the incident. The incident remains under investigation.
