A burglary in progress Thursday morning brought out a large number of law enforcement in Prescott. Officers were sent to the 16-hundred block of Lindley Drive at around 9 a.m. According to the owner of the residence, who was not home at the time, she received an alert on her cell phone from a motion-activated security camera, which showed a hooded-subject making entry inside her home. Officers quickly arrived at the scene. Information received led investigators to believe that there was a very good chance the person was still inside the home and may have access to firearms. Tactical officers responded, and using advanced equipment, cleared the home. No one was inside at the time. The case remains under investigation.
