A man was killed after he was hit by a train Saturday night in downtown Flagstaff. Police say 27-year-old Jonah Bullard was hit by the train at around 11:42 p.m. near East Route 66 and North San Francisco Street. Officers arrived after they received the report of the accident. Bullard was pronounced dead soon after. The train was headed eastbound and stopped for a different investigation taking place at Ponderosa Parkway and East Route 66. When the train started to move, Bullard was in the process of crawling underneath it. A witness tells KAFF News, Bullard wasn’t the only one to cross as the train was stopped. The witness says “about four-to-five people” went across the train before it moved. The case remains under investigation.
