A Sedona woman was killed Thursday when she rolled her vehicle over on Beaverhead Flat Road near Cornville. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at around 2:45 p.m. The driver, 34-year-old Nicole Walls, had been ejected from a 2005 Chevrolet SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary indications are that the driver may have over corrected during turning movements, causing the vehicle to leave the road and roll multiple times. Walls wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The road was closed for nearly four hours while the vehicle and body were removed. The accident is under investigation.
