The Prescott Valley Police Department, in partnership with the Arizona Governor’s Office, performed addition traffic enforcement detailing Tuesday. Officers focused on stopping dangerous and reckless drivers on State Route 69 between Truwood Drive and Glassford Hill Drive. In a four-hour period, officers stopped 45 vehicles, resulting in two arrests for criminal speeding and DUI charges, 37 speeding tickets and eleven other citations. Officers will continue patrolling this area, as has one of the highest crash rates in the town. Prescott Police remind residents and travelers to drive with caution and report erratic driving behavior to law enforcement.
