41-Year-Old Man Dies Hiking In The Grand Canyon

A 41-year-old man was reported unresponsive near the Pipe Creek River Resthouse along the Bright Angel Trail early Sunday morning. The man remained unresponsive despite bystander and park personnel attempts to resuscitate him. The man reportedly was hiking out of the canyon from an overnight stay. The National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner are investigating the incident.
