The Cinderella post-season continues for the 14th-seeded Flagstaff Eagles as they stunned their rival, seventh-seed Coconino to advance in the elimination bracket in the 4A Softball State Playoffs. Senior Gracie Schmitz drove in two runs to lead the Eagles to the 4-1 win. In the previous two games against Coconino, Flagstaff was 0-2 and was outscored 22-4 in both games. The Eagles are off until Tuesday, when the play in another elimination game against either Greenway or Paradise Honors. Coconino lost their last two games after picking up a first round win over Mica Mountain.
