Family Friday: Picturing ideas

The paintings in the “Journey to Balance” exhibition are filled with pictures drawn to represent something more. This Friday we explore the use of symbolism in art and poetry andthen create and illustrate a poem or draw a journey story using symbols that have a personal meaning. Museum of Northern Arizona educator Mari Soliday presents a short education program for kids on the MNA Facebook page, including an activity to try at home.
