Gas prices are higher again this week, but the rise isn’t as strong as has been in previous weeks. Triple-A Arizona says prices were up just over a cent from last week to $3.16 a gallon on average. In Flagstaff, gas prices actually fell a half-cent this week to $3.28 a gallon on average. However, some stations are selling gas for $3.11 and lower. In Prescott, gas prices were up nearly two-and-a-half cents on average to $3.26 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $3.05 a gallon and lower. Triple-A officials say crude inventories fell after recent growth. Analysts say if crude stocks continue to tighten, motorists will continue to see an increase of prices at the pump.
