Four people were injured after a multi-vehicle accident in Chino Valley Tuesday morning. Police were called to the area of State Route 89 and Jack Dale Drive just after 7 a.m. Investigators say a black 1993 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 54-year-old from Paulden, was heading southbound and stopped in the roadway to make a left onto Jack Dale Drive. A grey 2013 Toyota Minivan, driven by a 50-year-old from Golden Valley, rear-ended the Jeep, which forced the Wrangler into the northbound lane. The minivan also had a 24-year-old passenger inside. The Wrangler was then partially hit head-on in the northbound lane by a white 2017 Ford F-250 pickup, driven by a 61-year-old from Dewey, which was hauling a trailer. Three of the four injured were transported with minor injuries, the driver of the Jeep had to be airlifted from the scene with serious injuries. All three vehicles suffered significant damage and it took crews about two hours to clear the scene.
