Flagstaff Fire crews were quick to respond to a small fire that started near the Rio de Flag Pump Station Monday morning. Officials say the fire started in a wooded area just south of Interstate-40 along the Flagstaff Urban Trail System, and within a quarter of a mile from the pump station. The Flagstaff wildland fire crew was joined by a crew from the forest service to contain the fire to just three-tenths of an acre. Crews took more than three hours to fully contain and extinguish the fire. There were no injuries or property lost.
