Flagstaff city councilwoman Jamie Whelan has announced her candidacy for the Mayor of Flagstaff in 2020. Whelan was elected to the Flagstaff City Council in 2016 and received the most votes making her Vice Mayor in her first year. She has lived in Flagstaff for over 26 years and has owned the Old Towne Creperie for over 12 years with her wife Laura Anne. Whelan spent most of her career as a teacher, teaching at Northern Arizona University and in the Flagstaff Unified School District. On running for mayor, Whelan says “this is the ideal place to live, work, and play, and I want to create stability and affordability for everyone to have a better life in Flagstaff.” She is the first candidate for Flagstaff mayor that has publicly announced their intentions.

No thanks
How do I submit my name?
You have to pull an election pack with the city. Either go to City Hall or give them a call.
No way, we need sanity at city hall.
